We all struggle to deal with poor mental health at some time in our life. I believe that during these difficult times, it can be really helpful to have the space to reflect on your own situation and allow yourself some time to put yourself first and consider what you want.
Many people come to counselling because they feel that they want to have a better understanding of something or make changes to their life. You may not know what it is that you want or how you want to go about it, but you are probably feeling that this is the time for changes to happen.
With a compassionate and empathic approach, I will offer you the opportunity to be heard in safe, confidential surroundings, whether that be when meeting face to face, online or while we walk and talk.
I am a fully qualified, integrative, therapeutic counsellor, which means that I use a combination of Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Transactional Analysis to enable you to receive a personal and humanistic approach, ensuring that you are at the heart of our working relationship. Talking about what is happening and your thoughts and emotions can provide you with the space to process what you are experiencing and create change.
I am committed to providing a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and concerns without any judgment.
I am committed to being the best that I can be so that you receive a professional and unique service so that you are able to develop a good understanding of self and explore who you want to be.
I am a registered member of the The British Association of Counselling and Psychology (BACP) and work to their guidelines to ensure that I am committed to providing professional and ethical practice, developing an open and trusting relationship in order to create positive change for you
